Today we got our Consulate Appointment! Our agency was able to get us in as one big group of nine families for March 17th at 9:30 am. This is great news! Now we will be able to come home on Wednesday the 19th! Our travel looks like this:
Thursday March 6th: Leave Phoenix for Chengdu, China at 8:11 pm.
*We have a connection in San Francisco. This flight leaves for Hong Kong at 12:05 am.
Saturday March 8th: We arrive in Hong Kong on Saturday the 8th at 6:55 am. We connect in Hong Kong and arrive in Chengdu at 1:30 pm!
Sunday March 9th: Rest, sightsee and gear up to meet Josiah Zheng Zheng!
Monday March 10th: GOTCHA! Today is the day Josiah will be placed in my arms and into our family forever!
Tuesday March 11th: Civil Affairs Appointment. Josiah's adoption is final in China!
Friday March 14th: Leave Chengdu for Guangzhou
Monday March 17th: U.S. Consulate Appointment at 9:30 am. Please pray that our paperwork is in order and all goes well!
Tuesday March 18th: Oath and Swearing In Ceremony at the U.S. Consulate.
Wednesday March 19th: We leave Guangzhou at 9:30 am and head to Hong Kong. We leave Hong Kong at 10:15 am and arrive in LA at 1:00pm. We get on our last plane to Phoenix and arrive home on Wednesday March 19th (the real miracle of time travel :)) at 2:33 pm!!!!

Praying for safe travel today! I am so excited to follow your trip! I wish I was a bit closer to San Francisco.... I would bring you dinner as you wait to leave! Can't wait to see a post from China!!! Hang on Josiah! It won't be long now!
